1. Forest Department Safari Permits (Non-Refundable)
As per statutory rules laid down by the Madhya Pradesh Forest Department and National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA), all confirmed core and buffer entry permits booked under government quotas (forest.mponline.gov.in) are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-modifiable once issued against passenger identity cards.
Any guest cancellation request for the permit component cannot be processed for refund under any circumstances, as the forest department does not credit permit fees back to travellers or agents.
2. Jungle Lodges & Hotel Accommodations
Hotel and wilderness resort cancellations are governed according to the specific tariff plan and individual lodge cancellation schedule:
- 30+ Days Prior to Check-in: 85% refund of the hotel stay component (15% operational handling fee deducted).
- 15 to 29 Days Prior to Check-in: 50% refund of the hotel stay component.
- Under 15 Days Prior to Check-in / Peak Season (Diwali, Christmas, New Year, Holi): 100% cancellation charge applies (no refund).
3. Taxi Rentals, 4x4 Gypsys & Airport Transfers
Private airport transfers (Jabalpur, Nagpur, Bhopal, Indore) and local station pickups cancelled at least 48 hours prior to scheduled arrival will receive a 90% refund. Cancellations made within 24-48 hours will incur a 30% retention fee. Cancellations under 24 hours or driver no-shows are non-refundable.
4. Refund Processing Timeline
Eligible refund amounts approved after verification will be credited back via the original payment method (Bank NEFT/RTGS, UPI, or Credit Card) within 5 to 7 business banking days.
